About this project
Starting in 2024, Hwy 97 between I-35 and Hwy 61 in Forest Lake will undergo a pavement reconstruction project. As part of the work, various safety and pedestrian improvements are being considered including left-turn lanes and pedestrian crosswalks at specific intersections and a multi-use trail. The proposed trail would provide a safer place for pedestrians and bicyclists to travel in the area.
