Outdoor Skating Rinks and Warming Houses are Closed For the Season

Outdoor Skating Rinks Locations
The Tower Park Hockey Rinks (843 SW 4thSt.) and Beltz Park Pleasure Rink (11th Ave SE & South Shore Dr.) are open for skating (no hockey allowed). Both locations include a warming house and portable restroom. remain open. Due to the recent warm weather and deteriorating conditions, the rinks will no longer be maintained.
Warming Houses
The warming house at Tower Park and Beltz Park are now open with the following restrictions, due to COVID-19:
- Masks must be worn at all times inside of the warming house.
- 6 feet social distancing guidelines must be followed.
- Capacity limits in place:
TOWER PARK: 8 individuals inside at a time
BELTZ PARK: 2 individuals or 1 household inside at a time
Tower Park Warming House Hours:
- Friday 4:00 – 9:00 PM
- Saturday 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Beltz Park Warming House Hours:
- Saturday 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Please note that the regular warming house hours are subject to change at any time due to weather and staffing availability. We will post any closures that may be necessary.
Outdoor Recreation COVID-19 Resources
Individuals may engage in outdoor recreational activities such as skating, provided that they adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Executive Order 21-01 and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and MDH guidelines on outdoor recreation and guidelines for facilities and the public.
