Feb. 19 • Movie Day - Despicable Me 3 (PG)

Feb. 19  • Open Skating 
10:00 am - 4:00 pm - FREE 
Beltz Park, 11th Ave. SE & South Shore Drive
Grab your skates and enjoy some outdoor skating at Beltz Park.  The warming house will be open and hot chocolate available while supplies last.

Feb. 19 • Ski Club, Grades 5-6
9:00 am - 3:00 pm 
Ski Club is a great opportunity for students to have some winter fun with a day trip to Wild Mountain!  Available for students grades 5-6.  Register with Community Education; cost $55.

Hardwood Creek Library, 19955 Forest Road N. Celebrate winter with stories, rhymes, and songs at Hardwood Creek Library.  After we read, play, and sing together, we will make a snow globe to take home!

146 Lake Street N.  Parking in back of building.
  • 9:00 am - 9:45 am, "Princess Snow Ball"  Ages 4-6. Participants can come dressed in their favorite princess (a fancy outfit or an every day one).  We will be learning a special princess dance routine, and having lots of fun!  Prince's are welcome, too!  Limit of 25 students.
  • 10:00 am - 11:00 am, "Blizzard Boogie"  Ages 7-11.  Participants will learn a jazz/hip hop combo to some fun and fabulous music.  Please bring some sort of winter apparel with you to class (hat, mittens, scarves).  Limit of 25 students.

Feb. 24 • Getting Cold for a Cause, Forest Lake Rotary Plunge

Lakeside Memorial Park, 95 E. Broadway Ave. The Rotary Club of Forest Lake is partners with other local organizations to help jointly raise funds by allowing participants, or "Plungers," to jump in the frost, frigid, frozen Forest Lake.  If you are interested in partnering, raising funds by plunging, or pledging one or more Plungers, visit firstgiving.com/forestlakerotary/winterplunge.  Come join the fun!

Feb. 25 • Forest Lake Yellow Ribbon Breakfast

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Feb. 25 • Snowshoeing Fun!

12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Castlewood Golf Course, 7050 Scandia Trail North Enjoy snowshoeing the beautiful terrain of the Castlewood Golf Course in Forest Lake.  You'll be given a pair of snowshoes when you arrive and then you can explore the 9 hole golf course to experience the joys of snowshoeing.  1-hour rentals available: Child (12 & Under) $5, Adults $10.

2018 Medallion Hunt 
The first clue of the 2018 Medallion Hunt will be posted on Monday, February 19th at 3:00 pm.  

Interested in looking for the Medallion hidden in one of the parks in the City of Forest Lake?  Register here for your chance to win!  (Registration is closed for the 2017 Medallion Hunt).

Rules



The Medallion will be hidden in a City Park in Forest Lake, but it will NOT be hidden at Lakeside Memorial Park, Fenway Park, or Castlewood Golf Course.  

Individuals under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to participate in the Medallion Hunt.  The parent or guardian who claims the prize on behalf of a child must be registered.

All participants agree that the City of Forest Lake will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by participants for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prizes or participation in this contest.

Except where legally prohibited, by accepting the prize, winner grants permission to the City of Forest Lake, and those acting under its authority to use his or her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness for advertising and/or publicity without compensation.


Clue Postings



Forest Lake Medallion Hunt clues will be posted daily on the City of Forest Lake’s Facebook Page beginning on Monday, February 19th, 2018 at 3:00 PM.  A new clue will be posted daily at 3:00 PM through Sunday, February 25th, unless the Medallion is found prior to that date.  If the Medallion is not found by 11:59 PM on Sunday, February 25th, the hunt is over. 

Redemption



If you find the City of Forest Lake Medallion, return it to the Forest Lake City Center, 1408 Lake Street South, during normal business hours Monday-Friday 8-4:30 to claim the Forest Lake Prize Package.  Must be redeemed by 4:30 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018.
